Gluck Residence

Based on Rousseau’s painting; “Woman walking in an Exotic Forest”

The exterior of the building was “skinned” and re-clad with an abstraction of a 3 dimensional version of the painting. The Owner, who runs a landscape company in Chicago had already created a beautiful landscape plan which encompassed the building. From this the building drew and “architecturalized” the landscape and garden in the painting.
