Wicker Park Kitchen Remodel
Proposal
To enlarge and modernize the kitchen of a Wicker Park residence
Solution
Walls were removed to transform the kitchen into an open loft-like
space. Cherry cabinets were installed along the two outside walls
to form a backdrop to the food prep area, featuring honed granite
countertops and a stainless steel backsplash. The central island
serves as a transitional element; the range top and hood anchor
it firmly in the kitchen’s workspace, while one of its counters
reaches into the seating area.
